TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:  Re David Robson

I work as a private trainer in Auckland and I specialize in training female and male competitors for bodybuilding events.  I have been competing myself since 1992, when I began as a very novice “novice” with little knowledge and no people available with any great experience in bodybuilding to help or advise me.  It was through trial and error throughout my first few years of bodybuilding, that I learnt what I would have to do to make my body the best it could be to succeed in my sport. During my first international event in 1994, I met and began to learn from the more experienced people who were around to help me. It has been a hard road to travel and I have learnt the hard way – through personal experience, but it could have been very much easier. I am pleased to say that new competitors to our sport now have a wealth of knowledge available to them.

I have now been into my sport for 15 years and I am still learning and still competing internationally for New Zealand.  When I first began bodybuilding, learning from a computer was not an option to us. Computers were available, but it certainly was not a case of every household owning one. Now computers are the norm, and now that we have David Robson making his knowledge available, the paths have opened for the novice or Elite competitor to thoroughly research and learn about their sport from the articles and researched topics by David.

One thing about David is that he writes in common language, he is very thorough and he explains everything in simple English so I know everybody I put onto his articles will understand and be able to relate to the subject. The articles he writes for Bodybuilding.com are what I direct my own clients to for information and are often looked up and re-read by myself.

As well as being a terrific writer, David is also a source of great support for me. Not only does he help with my own website by supplying me with profiles of top female athletes, which provides my readers with further motivation, but he takes a keen interest in me as a competitor representing New Zealand in World events. It goes without saying that David is a valuable friend and a tower of support for me, and I am always eager to open any email that comes through from him as I know it is always positive and always rewarding.

David indeed lives and breathes bodybuilding, being a trainer, a competitor and an author. I would recommend him as a trainer to any competitor, and I know he is the one person I shall be seeking advice from when I begin my countdown for my next world event.

I wish David all the very best in his contests throughout 2006 and I eagerly await any new articles penned by David.

 Regards
